Have I ever told you about my amazing garage-sale deal finding father-in-law? Cause he’ll find just about anything I need. At a garage sale. For cheap.
He’s really truly amazing. He’s found loads of things we need like rare Chevy truck parts, washer and dryer, kids bikes, lawnmowers, cast iron cook wear, freon for our leaky AC, metal detectors, whos-its and whats-its galore!
But the most recent thing he’s scored is a huge composter for my garden! You see, I’ve been using a large trash can with 2 inch holes drilled all over it. And it worked….. but I’ve had my eyes on a few at Lowe’s for a while now. But none of them seemed completely worth the money. Some are too small. Others are just a glorified trash can. And you still have to turn over the dirt with a shovel. So I was waiting for the right one to come along.
And the wait is over…this thing is amazing! The little door opens easily, and you can turn all the dirt with the handle. No more compost digging and turning with a shovel in my heels.
Just kidding about the heels part… However, this thing so sophisticated, you could totally make dirt in heels.
Now I can’t divulge all my secrets, but I’ll give you an Amazon listing for reference. But mine was a garage sale find! Boo-ya!
