Food experiments gone bad

You all won't believe the bad luck I've been through in the kitchen lately! Its sad. Real sad. Like ruining pork chops, grape jelly that doesn't set, burnt cookies, and not to mention the fact that I have cut out all dairy products because "little foot" can't handle the lactose.

Oh, and when I did finally get something right: Carolina style pork shoulder with homemade sweet barbecue sauce and cole slaw all mounted on garlic texas toast......my camera is dead. Dead. Dead. Dead.

So I took a picture with my iphone. Sacrilege, my friends? I think so.

The best part? Turns out "little foot" can't handle cabbage either. It churned his little belly all night.

So as a replacement for our normally schedule food experiments, I'm stuck eating bread, fruit, and over-cooked vegetables for now. So, I'll just satisfy you by bringing you new pictures of my growing brood.

They are a cute brood, aren't they?

Here's Joslyn playing dress up in her tutu, snow boots and aviators. Love it.

And Jude practicing his poses for his newborn baby shoot tomorrow. He will, of course, be less clothed because who can resist a naked newborn?

If I can manage to get my camera charged, Joslyn and I will be experimenting with spaghetti squash this week!

AND if I can EVER get this jelly to set, I'll show you how to make concord grape juice and jelly entirely from scratch. (Its really easy and muy delicioso!) Oh boy, I've hit my Dora max this week, apparently...
