All my cozy herbs

If you've followed this blog for a while, you'd remember all my failed attempts at gardening. Always resulting in dry, dead plants. And my luck has only got slightly better.

Before the first frost this year, I potted all my herbs and brought them into the sunroom. They have stayed cozy and warm ever since! (Clarification: I brought in all my herbs that weren't already dead. Some required resuscitation. One successful, the others didn't do as well....)

AND, this is the best part......because I walk by them everyday, I remember to water them more often. AND they are still alive. Funny how that works.

So here's some food porn for those of you missing your fresh herbs! At the top is the basil. Can one ever have too much basil?

Thai basil:

Rosemary and thyme (both nearly depleted after thanksgiving):

Parsley:

Chamomile (which to be honest I don't know what to do with. It hasn't flowered yet, so I'm not sure what value it holds):

And my happy herb table. To the left is my banana tree. I got it so that I can grill delicate things like fish on the leaves. The tag said it will "flower" (aka. grow bananas) but I'm not holding my breath.
