These are a few of my favorite things

The weather is getting snippy. I’ve hauled in wood, made a fire, pulled out my slippers and my hot chocolate supply- and with it comes the marshmallow supply.

Yes, I know usually they go together, but you see if you forgo the marshmallow, you get more hot chocolate for your buck.

AND, ahem, I happen to know where you can get you little paws on lots and lots of marshmallows. But I’m not going to tell you where. Is that why you’re still reading this….. so I will tell you where to get loads of little marshmallows for pennies on the dime?!

Well, you twisted my arm. I found them at the Amish store in Branson. Love that place! Glenna’s the one who first turned me on to it, and I absolutely love it. You can get white, chocolate, pink (strawberry?) and mixed. Each package is about 3 1/2-4 cups of dehydrated marshmallows (the hot chocolate kind) and costs as little as $1.90. Let me repeat, $1.90. Yeah. I’m not kidding.

And while you’re there, pick up loads of hand-churned butter, brandied peaches, or dried fruit. You’ll thank me later!
