Chocolate for the win!

Happy Birthday Ashley! What’s a better way to celebrate than with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting! This is Betty’s recipe. I’ve already posted the cake recipe here, but I don’t think I’ve given away the chocolate frosting secrets.

This is one of those that you may have to make extra, just so you can lick the bowl. Not that there was any bowl licking around here….we’re WAY too sophisticated for that…..

Chocolate Frosting:
Combine well:
1 stick butter, melted
4 T. cocoa powder
6 T. evaporated milk (or 4-5 T. cream)

then mix in:
1 t. vanilla
3 c. powdered sugar

Whip well, and then frost your heart out!

BTW, my title up there is dedicated to all those World of Warcraft players and their poor wives. Really, you should seek addiction therapy. And if you don’t have a wife, maybe you should dedicate all that time to other online resources. Seriously, I’m handing down some sound advice here. Do not, I repeat DO NOT marry a woman you met at the bar “in game”. And I’ll really have you crucified in the tacky hall of fame if you propose “in game”. Got it?

Now get off the computer and go show that woman (or man) in your life that you love ‘em by making a chocolate cake- for the win?!
