(FYI, if you weren't already aware- which I'm finding quite common- your average tea bag used for making everyday run-of-the-mill tea is called Orange Pekoe and it is a black tea)
And what did I discover? A delightful change to the average glass of tea. The colors were consistently lighter, but surprisingly weren't watered-down tasting at all!
From left to right:
The first is a green tea (which I usually avoid- it must be sweetened properly and not too strong) and its Lipton honey lemon flavor. At the grocery store there were lots of different flavor combinations for green tea now. The flavors certainly make drinking green much more appealing.
The middle is your average tea (ahem, Orange Pekoe) but .......is it? We've sweetened it up with a hefty dollop of honey and a few sprigs of mint. OOooh, I just LOVE mint in my tea!
Last is a red tea called Honey Bush (got it at Mama Jeans). Even without sweeteners this tea actually tastes like honey. Its really refreshing. This one was Justin's favorite.
I've played around with a few others too........Lavender Chamomile, Oolong with lime and mint. Up next to try is a Cinnamon Orange Black tea from the Mud House.

I've always wanted to experiment with Tea. I usually stick with the usual Luzzianne, or Green Chai. Mint seems like a good Idea, do you have to grind the mint like a Mojito?
yes, but I just chop or tear it. That really kicks up the flavor!
Mama Jean's--Yay! One of my favorite places!
Also love all the flavors. I've been "mixing it up" too with tea because I'm trying really hard to get out of the soda habit. I do okay and then go back to work and one night of swigging Wild Cherry Pepsi and I'm back off the wagon again. But the teas, especially herbals, really are much more refreshing and summery.
Love the honey and mint adds.
