
I cannot take credit for this amazing creation. However, I wanted to share it with you all nonetheless. Jacque brought this over the other night and I have nibbled on it for a few days, just trying to make it last a little longer. You see, this is a special dish and I won’t get more for a long time, so I’m trying to savor the moment(s).
Jacque is one of those people who you wish had a food blog. She is sort of like my own personal Paula Deen. Not as southern, but just as amazing!
When I was a kid we would go to her house when it snowed. There is a hill on their property that is the PERFECT sledding place. We would go down the hill and walk back up a thousand times until we were absolutely too tired to continue. Then we would head inside where hot cocoa and homemade chicken noodle soup were waiting. Then we would nap or watch some old movie like Swiss Family Robinson just long enough to gather enough energy to go back out into the snow.
