Oh, I’ve been waiting to post about this since Friday!!!!! Jerilyn threw a great party, and she knows exactly what kind of food will be a hit.
On the menu we had:
BBQ pulled pork and brisket
Hambugers and hot dogs
Spinach Artichoke Dip
Savory Swiss Onion Dip
Potato Casserole
Strawberry Pretzel Crunch Dessert
Butter Pecan Dessert
and a Mud Pie with real gummy worms
I snatched a few pictures before everything was devoured. And some pictures just didn’t turn out, so I’m sorry I’m depriving you of a couple really delicious dishes.
First this is the Strawberry Pretzel Crunch. The bottom layer is crushed pretzels and butter, baked a little, then cooled. The middle layer is cream cheese and Cool Whip, and the top layer is Strawberries in strawberry jello. Um, this really is to die for, and is Jer’s signature dessert.
Second is the mud pie (pardon the saran wrap). I LOVE the layering! It looks (and tasted) divine!
Third is the savory swiss onion dip. I can’t remember all that is in this dip, but I know it includes a vadalia onion, swiss cheese and mayo.
And last this is the butter pecan dessert. The bottom layer is Ritz crackers, then butter pecan pudding, Cool Whip and of course pecans!
