The design is to be used for loose tea, but since I don't have any on hand, I used chamomile tea bags and it worked just fine! You could also make coffee and use this as sort of a percolator, but I think you'd have to use large grounds or a disposable filter.
All you do is place the strainer in the cup, pour water slowly over the tea, take out the strainer, and pop on the top. There is also a second lid that prevents spills when tipped.
This is the greatest invention since the jet boil! With their powers combined...... we have Captain Coffee Buzz! I haven't actually taken this new toy out into the wild, but I can't wait to. Thanks Dennis and Joan!
Yo, check it out...I bet you could even make fresh sun tea in this thing while you're hiking. Hmmm, this may lead to some experimenting....
