Looking Back

Last week I finished a DVD (that’s right to remember all our great adventures of 2006. This week, I will try to show a few foodie-related adventures I had and why they were so fun.

This picture was from our trip to the zoo. I just love feeding the animals. Who can resist being slobbered on, seriously? No, actually we went to the zoo to see the baby elephant. We have a famous elephant breeder here in the Ozarks (I know you’d think these type of people would be in what, Africa?).

The baby’s name is Nisha. It means night because she was born at night. I thought it was cool because I once knew a girl named Neisha. Anyway, she is the second elephant to be born in captivity and survive. The same elephant breeder had the first birth about 5-10 years ago. I think she now lives in California. Nisha will be one year old in July.
