Last week I finished a DVD (that's right ;) to remember all our great adventures of 2006. This week, I will try to show a few foodie-related adventures I had and why they were so fun.
This picture was from our trip to the zoo. I just love feeding the animals. Who can resist being slobbered on, seriously? No, actually we went to the zoo to see the baby elephant. We have a famous elephant breeder here in the Ozarks (I know you'd think these type of people would be in what, Africa?).
The baby's name is Nisha. It means night because she was born at night. I thought it was cool because I once knew a girl named Neisha. Anyway, she is the second elephant to be born in captivity and survive. The same elephant breeder had the first birth about 5-10 years ago. I think she now lives in California. Nisha will be one year old in July.

a DVD eh?
Rach-is it that time of the month? Because I recall one time you wanted to go to the Humane Society and another time when you wanted to pet and feed all the farm animals at the fair, were both closly timed to Aunt Flo.
yeah my DVD is awesome! It is a DVD of 2006 in pictures, sort of like a scrapbook on the TV, and I didn't have to sit down and cut paper and glue crap together for hours.
The only problem is I accidentally made it widescreen, so my TV cuts off part of the picture, including the menu buttons....I'm working on that.
