I can’t believe its been over a week since my last post. I guess that’s an indication of the craziness that has come upon us.
Its funny to look at those new year’s resolutions already at the end of January and see that some of them are just not going to happen. And I’m trying to deal with this realization. When change happens, sometimes it shows up at your doorstep without a call. It stays for dinner and then soon you realize its never going to go away.
This is my life. There are many changes that are planned and expected, and then some that just happen without asking. I like to look at these changes like little tugs on your heart. Something deep inside you really needed the change, the changes our selfishness would have never allowed.
This seems to be happening in many areas of my life right now. These changes are moving us toward the next stage in our lives. Ready or not. Are you scared?
You may be wondering what this has to do with my usual food content on this blog. Well, like I said change is happening in many areas of my life. Including my mayonnaise. I have been a Miracle Whip Free girl for about 3 years now. After reading FG talking about Hellman’s being the only mayonnaise, I decided to try it. (I mean, most of her advice has worked out thus far) So I gave it a shot today with deviled eggs.

I had to come to terms with the fact that there are fat grams involved in this change. But its okay. The change was worth it! Lets just hope I’m still able to ride my bike a while longer with all the other changes. No? Well, okay.
