Baby its cold outside

This pretty much confirms we won’t be grilling anytime soon. Luckily, in the midst of all the power outages and cold houses, we are cozying up inside and making fresh bread.

Thanks to my new bread book, (thanks FG for the tip) I’ll be making homemade bread forever. I’m certainly not very good yet, and I haven’t figured out how to make those cool designs in the artisan breads. But it tastes good and that’s all that matters right now!

Now all I need is some warm apple butter….
