Pumpkin Dump Cake

This is an easier way to eat pumpkin for thanksgiving than fussing with a pie crust. Enjoy!

1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
1 (12 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. ginger
1/4 t. ground cloves
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter
1 cup pecans
cool whip

Beat pumpkin, milk, sugar and eggs. Add salt, cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Mix well. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Melt butter and drizzle on top of cake mix. Sprinkle nuts. Bake on 350 for an hour. Top with cool whip.
